staring into the abyss of google plus
i see a spark, a glimmer, a ray of hope
a light shining from the inky darkness
drawing me onward, forward, closer
to what, i know not
is it a friend? a helping hand? a face?
there is but one way to figure this out
circle, add and befriend the new glimmer
talk and converse, sharing words aplenty
to the future we climb
forever longing and striving
i see hope at last
floundering in the world
there is a thin line
moving forward
slowly gaining dreams
realizing myself
and who i am
who i will be
at the end of the day
when the journey is complete
and life starts anew
