staring into the abyss of google plus
i see a spark, a glimmer, a ray of hope
a light shining from the inky darkness
drawing me onward, forward, closer
to what, i know not
is it a friend? a helping hand? a face?
there is but one way to figure this out
circle, add and befriend the new glimmer
talk and converse, sharing words aplenty
to the future we climb
forever longing and striving
i see hope at last
floundering in the world
there is a thin line
moving forward
slowly gaining dreams
realizing myself
and who i am
who i will be
at the end of the day
when the journey is complete
and life starts anew
I once had hope.
Falling upon the wings of angels
Cold gray sky of clouds
Tender threads falling graceful
warm water sliding
words
falling upon air
sound flows
unto a dream
dreary darkness
long stone paths
an exercise from Miriam was to rewrite my last poem
like a fern in the sky
somewhere in the night
back! back ye effusive hounds
