Prompt-and-Share: Word Prompt Thursday! Plot is of obvious importance to any story. Though stories can be very different, let\u2019s focus on the basics. There needs to be a character in your story, at least one. It has to happen somewhere, so we need a setting. Finally we need a conflict and a resolution.
\nSo from now on, Thursdays prompts are going to focus on a random word generated Prompt-and-Share centering on plot. That\u2019s right folks, we are putting some rhyme and reason into this chaos of Prompt-and-Share madness! The rules will be a little more strict, please adhere to them, they are there for YOU to learn how to work your creativity within certain guidelines.<\/p>\n

There was no passage of time for her anymore. All she remembered was the darkness and the pain and the bindings now. What little she was able to make out of where she was wasn’t pretty and just made her mind race in terror. Chains hanging from stone walls and sharp jagged metal things everywhere only fueled her nightmares. All she knew was what little she had been told when she awoke in this cold dark place by her captor. That soon some demonic master of his would be reborn through her, eating her alive as it emerged from her. He made it sound like a parasite feeding on her, growing stronger. She could hear it now, thrumming softly as it munched away inside her. The sounds were new, and brought with them even more pain than before \u2013 stabbing deep into her mind in wave after wave of white blinding agony. Now and then she would even pass out from it. Not for long though. It was almost like it wanted her awake \u2013 as if it wanted her to know what it was doing \u2013 as if it was feeding on her pain and her fear. She knew it wouldn’t be much longer. It couldn’t. She could feel it gnawing on her heart now. She knew she would be dead soon. Munch. Munch. Her eyes glazed over as her heart stopped completely, the sweat that had been pouring off of her drying and leaving behind a sticky residue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
